Cipherbox 1.0

Cipherbox is a free software to protect all kinds of your documents (Office/PDF/ZIP/etc) with password, so you won't worry about storing them into those unsafe storage like public clouds and computers. Native application encryption algorithms are used so that you can open document everywhere, even without Cipherbox available.

Background
As a matter of fact, many public cloud storage providers are actually peeking your document files all the time. For ordinary users we suggest that you can zip important documents with strong password before uploading them to the cloud. Meanwhile many software like MS Office and Adobe Acrobat also provide their own encryption algorithms, which can be used to protect your documents as well.

Cipherbox can protect all your word/pdf/zip files in a batch, using native encryption algorithms in application. Thus even stored into cloud like Dropbox, SkyDrive, Google Drive, your documents are still safe in the sense that nobody can open without password. And another advantage is that as owner you can open
document files everywhere, even without our software available.

For other document types which do not provide native encryption, such as jpg and mov, one can also use Cipherbox to zip all into one archive file and lock with a password. It is easy, so give a try!
